About the classes
These are semi-private yoga classes (4 or 5 participants) held in an intimate setting.
My classes support a gentle and adapted approach. They are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students.
Classes will feature
- gentle and basic yoga forms (asana) with both long and short holding, as well as dynamic movement into and out of the forms on the breath
- breathing practice (pranayama)
You will have an opportunity to focus on the qualities of a specific form each week, and to connect with others in the class about your yoga journey through discussion in class.
Because these classes are very small and spaces are in high demand, please note that there are no refunds or discounts for missed classes.
October 9, November 13 and December 11 (Fridays)
Bodhi Tree Yoga Centre, 28 Prescott Street, Kemptville, Ontario, K0G 1J0
Join me at the Bodhi Tree in Kemptville for Breathe, Flow and Reflect. These classes will support you in engaging in an intention-based practice, then carrying that practice off the mat and into your life. They will feature physical forms, a short breathing practice, brief silent meditation and a short guided activity around a specific theme.
Drop-in classes are $16 (incl HST) but you can also buy packages.

About Shulamit’s teaching
I’m not a yoga athlete, nor am I a pretzell-y yogini. My own practice is gentle; it varies with the seasons, and with my needs and capacities at any given time. There are times when I practice physical forms daily and times when I don’t. My teaching reflects the same gentle and adapted approach that I practice. The physical forms and other practices in the classes I teach are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students. In my classes I work explicitly with intention, awareness and reflection in support of integrating the fruits of formal practice into everyday life, so that students are empowered to live lives, and make everyday choices, that reflect their deepest values.
I am a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher with additional advanced studies in Kripalu, the viniyoga of Yoga (yoga in the tradition of TKV Desikachar) and Yoga therapy. I have practiced yoga since I was eight years old, and have been studying Yoga formally since 1999.
